I spoke in yesterday’s general debate on Fuel Poverty to raise awareness of the horrible crisis some of my constituents are in. With energy companies over-charging and more vulnerable people falling into debt, the Government must address this fast.

#FuelPoverty is just like any other type of poverty. It can be solved by creating better-paid jobs, affordable housing & a stronger welfare system.
In the meantime action must be taken to restrict deduction on pre-payment meters, which take a lot from people who don't have much. pic.twitter.com/m2g1jsI3r3
