I spoke in this week’s debate on Fair Housing in response to the Government’s Queen’s Speech – where they lay out their priorities for the upcoming Parliamentary year.
Sadly, their priorities do not include providing for our leaseholders facing huge bills for fire safety work, or investing in our local authorities, or our third sector.
You can read my speech in full here, or watch it here.
This year's #QueensSpeech provided no more hope to our leaseholders caught up in the #BuildingSafetyScandal, our homeless seeking shelter, or the tens of thousands of families living in overcrowding.
The Government is failing its duty of care to our country. pic.twitter.com/NU04WztVZY
