The Government have announced yet more cuts to our spending on overseas aid. This will not only harm the world’s poorest people, but also our reputation as a world-leader in the G7 and the UN.

I spoke up for the need to fund girls’ education worldwide – which is set to suffer.

The Govt made a manifesto promise to make girls' education a priority.

But by slashing overseas aid yet again, @savechildrenuk say there will be 25% less to spend on educating disadvantaged girls around the world.
