Revelations have been coming out over the past few weeks of a scandal at the heart of Government: our highest Secretaries of State have allowed themselves to be lobbied by companies and individuals (including David Cameron), at the public’s expense.

This is not a new issue – Greensill is just the tip of the iceberg. In this week’s debate on Lobbying and Cronyism, I spoke about the successive events during this pandemic that have shown how public money is handed to Tory friends, again and again.
