This week I challenged the Secretary of State for Defence to tackle the IMS Debt with urgency. £400m is owed by Britain to Iran from a deal going back to 1979 – which we didn’t follow through with.

This debt is directly linked to the detainment of Anoosheh Ashoori and other dual-nationals in Iranian prisons.

It must be resolved – and I will not stop raising it.
