I attended a fantastic open day and fundraiser for Camelot Pre-school nursery in Catford.

This brilliant local initiative offers early years learning for two to four year olds.

Funding problems recently threatened to close the school, restricting access to early-years education for families in our community. Thankfully, parents, local councillors and myself were able to come together to save this highly valued local resource.

The fundraiser was a great parental effort and I was pleased to attend along with my son and daughter.

There are spaces currently available for term time and funded places are available. They also offer a summer programme.
