Just before being elected MP we received news that TfL had agreed to expand the 225 bus service to Catford bus station to better serve the Whitefoot and Downham.

Previously the service had finished at Wellmeadow road, limiting public transport options for those in the south of the constituency.

This was the result of a seven year campaign by myself, Whitefoot Councillors Jonathan Slater and Mark Ingleby, London Assembly Member for Greenwich and Lewisham Len Duvall and former MP Heidi Alexander.

We are now awaiting timescale for the delivery of this new service.
