Following the letter I sent to the Foreign Secretary asking for Diplomatic Protection for Anoosheh Ashoori – signed by 60 MPs – I wanted to follow up on the progress.

It is encouraging to hear his case was discussed at the G7, but we need real protection to be given to him as soon as possible.

Yesterday I asked the Foreign Secretary for an update on discussions to secure Anoosheh Ashoori with Diplomatic Protection.
