I recently spoke in Parliament to challenge the Government on their awful record in tackling food poverty.

The debate focussed on the neglected needs of children on free school meals, but many adults – including those in work – are finding themselves in food poverty too.

I’m grateful to groups such as the Evelyn Community Store which help meet the need across our borough – but they shouldn’t have to.
